Andrea Farrena

Andrea has produced films across Europe, Asia and the U.S. Her documentary RED SANDS, a deep insight into Spanish culture and bull fighting, became the first documentary to be nominated for Best British Short at the British Independent Film awards (BIFAs).

Andrea’s first independent feature is a black comedy entitled THE KILLERS, following this she made a feature documentary, THE RAREST FILM IN THE WORLD following two friends from Essex who discover a lost Charlie Chaplin film on eBay. 

Andrea's most recent productions include short films, THE LIGHTS, selected for Film London’s 'London Calling' and THE OTHER SIDE WITH VALERIE HOPE, produced as part of the Creative England/BFI fund.

She has also worked as an agent for Farrena Films Management, representing both actors and directors.

Andrea is currently developing a slate of feature films, working between London and Cape Town.
