Richard is a multi‑award‑winning Creative Director and Executive Producer with a track record of delivering some of the UK’s most recognisable and successful television formats. Formerly Creative Lead at Remarkable TV (part of the Banijay Group) and previously Head of Entertainment at Endemol UK, Richard has overseen the development and production of major global entertainment brands.
His Executive Producer credits include long‑running and internationally acclaimed hits such as Deal or No Deal (Channel 4), Pointless (BBC), The Wall (BBC), House of Games (BBC), Cash Cab (ITV), I’m Spazticus (Channel 4), Swapheads (Channel 5), and The £100k Drop (Channel 4).
In 2023, Richard expanded into scripted content, building a strong development slate with Mutiny. He recently produced The Boot Room and is producing its subsequent hard‑hitting series. Richard’s creative interests centre on stories of identity, power, and transformation, often told through intimate character journeys set against socially charged backdrops. He is particularly drawn to collaborating with writers and directors who push boundaries and challenge genre conventions. Current projects include a biopic thriller based on the life of a well‑known British actor and a contemporary espionage‑driven thriller series.
A graduate of the Granada Television Trainee Producer Scheme, Richard has written, produced, and directed several short films, including What’s Wrong With Eric?, which premiered at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in Czechia. Earlier in his career, he also worked extensively across commercials and music promos as both a creative and producer.
